Job Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary owner for supporting infrastructure on Cloud (Virtual and Physical systems, storage, network, services, and security)
- Ownes and ensures all the technical issues are understood, dependencies analyzed, troubleshooting done, resolution arrived – tested and closed. (Where-ever needed RCA are created).
- Takes ownership on creating scripts for proactive alerts creation or working out methods for issue avoidance.
- Aligns with business objectives and provides Support to customer issues.
- Produce quality documentation of use cases, business and technical solutions based on growing needs and aligning with evolving technological concepts.
- Performs day to day Operational tasks as also monitor alerts from tools for all installed systems and takes appropriate action.
- Takes ownership and liaises with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution or escalations.
- Maintain records/logs of events and maintenance activity.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand the issues and help provide appropriate resolution
Job Profile
- Experience with designing low latency and high throughput systems
- Proficiency in Java is required, and experience with Golang is highly desired.
- Understanding of distributed systems and corresponding technologies like message queries, NoSQL databases, and distributed caches.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software design patterns.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
- Proven experience in developing SaaS backend solutions based on microservices architecture in public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Worked for a startup or similar environment. handling large volumes of data and events (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Sysdig)
- Familiarity with several frameworks or Cloud services used in large-scale distributed systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQA, Redis, Spark, Amazon Kinesis, Google Cloud Dataflow, Azure Event Hub
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, DynamoDB, Redis
- Passionate about software technologies, continuously keeping up with the latest trends.
- Contribution to OpenSource projects is a plus, showcasing your engagement with the developer community.
