Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and suggest solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with ES6+ syntax.
- Experience with popular Node.js frameworks such as Express.js.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in designing and consuming them.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and client-side JavaScript frameworks).
- Database experience, both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.
