Building Responsive and Adaptive UI using Sencha ExtJS 7

This CodeLab has two sections:

  • The first section talks about Responsive Design and the way it is implemented in an Ext JS Application. Such an application responds to changes in screen size or orientation, so that it runs successfully on desktops, laptops with touch screen and tablets.
  • The second section talks about Adaptive Design, demonstrating it by creating a Universal Application. An Ext JS 7 Universal Application has two code base and based on the device type, OS or browser, it downloads the needed framework and code to serve the user with the right set of components, data and behaviour.
